Even though I don’t understand why, it has had a significant effect on my self-esteem (to the point where I’ve brought it up in therapy). Sitting next to me is probably one of the kindest things a stranger could do. The next time I take a bus I’ll sit next to you. It breaks my heart that some people alienate others like this and so many other ways…. even though I do it sometimes too.

I’ve noticed for months now that people hardly sit next to me and when the bus fills up, I’m often the last person anyone will sit next to. Even though I don’t understand why, it has had a significant effect on my self-esteem (to the point where I’ve brought it up in therapy).
